In our world, we are often rewarded for moving quickly and being productive. Many of us do not pause and incorporate our life experiences in a way that enriches our lives. When we engage with modalities that are catalysts for expanded states of consciousness, such as ketamine, we often get a lot of useful information for our lives in a relatively short amount of time.
Integration is the process of intentionally unpacking these experiences. This mindful approach can create positive changes and lead to turning points in our lives. Processing these experiences alone can be isolating. Participating in a harm reduction and integration psychotherapy group or an integration circle can decrease feelings of aloneness and the stigma often attached to these healing modalities.
